Refund Policy

1. Overview

tubestat is a prepaid service: you purchase credits in advance and consume them as you call the API. This policy explains when refunds are available.

2. 14-day right to cancel (UK / EU consumers)

If you are a consumer based in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of payment, provided you have not yet started to use the credits. By making your first API request you expressly request that the Service begins immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for credits that have been consumed.

To exercise this right, email [email protected] from the address on your account within 14 days, quoting your order reference.

3. Service-level refunds

If the Service is unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side, or an individual API request fails because of an error attributable to us, the corresponding credits are automatically not deducted. If credits were deducted in error, contact support and we will restore them.

4. Discretionary refunds

Outside of the cases above, refunds for unused credits are at our reasonable discretion. We aim to be fair: if you bought a large package by mistake and have not used it, contact us within 30 days and we will normally refund it.

5. No refund cases

• Credits that have already been consumed by successful API requests.
• Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
• Refund requests made more than 90 days after the original purchase.

6. How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued through the original payment method via our payment processor, typically within 5 to 10 business days. Bank fees or currency conversion costs charged by your card issuer are outside our control.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can investigate. We respond to all good-faith requests within two business days. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may result in suspension of the account.
